I have really been forcing myself to get some work done on my business. It frustrates me that I have so many ideas in my head that never get released and are forgotten, so my newest motivational effort has been to keep my sketchbook handy and sketch out my ideas as soon as they pop inside my head. I think what has discouraged me all these years is that I felt like I needed to do an entire fashion sketch for every idea, but really all I need to do is get them out on paper, regardless of how "pretty" they are, I can always re-sketch the best ones later. So today I am uploading some of those drawings, and can hopefully decide on which one to create with a little input from all you fine folks:) Another thing I have noticed is that being a sole business owner and being your own boss makes getting motivated to do anything very difficult, but the results of your labor make for an excellent feeling at the end of the day:)
On another note, April 16th was my sister's birthday so I have been thinking about her a lot lately too and made a few of the baby headbands that I will be selling in my etsy store. I may do some fleece baby blankets as well and then do felt or fleece applique's of the little critters that I come up with.
